Sonido_13_Maribel_LopezMaribel López, Sonido13 Administrator, has broad and extensive experience in the field of cultural management and general management both nationally and internationally.
She has extensive and solid musical training. She began studying piano at the Academia Marshall in Barcelona at 7 years of age with Catherine de Lacalle, aunt of the great pianist Alicia de Larrocha.
She continued her piano studies with Angel Soler, finishing her degree under the direction of Miquel Farré at the Conservatorio Superior Municipal de Música in Barcelona. She combined her degree in piano with guitar ending the latter under the direction of José Luis Lopategui.
In 1981 Maribel López, obtained the title of Professor specializing in piano and guitar at the Conservatorio Superior Municipal de Música in Barcelona, where she was also taught piano.
In 1988 she created and directed in Barcelona Crescendo International Music Center, associated with the UNESCO Center. She combined this activity with project management for Iberoamérica, the Crescendo Concert Series for UNESCO as well as master classes with renowned musicians on the international scene such as: Rivka Golani, Franco Petracchi, Agustin Leon Ara, Ignacio Rodes, Emanuel Abbhül, Vicenç Prats, and etc… Responsable for  the artistic representation of some of them.
In 2000 she moved to Madrid to continue her cultural management projects with Iberoamérica and working as Managing Director of the Fundación Conservatorio Flamenco Casa Patas.
Maribel Lopez currently operates in Sonido13 in the city of Barcelona.
